Alex holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The Evergreen State College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from The University of Houston. For more than 11 years, Alex worked as a registered nurse (RN), mostly in luxury residential healthcare settings. Her favorite part of being a nurse is sharing her passion for community health and education, whether it’s helping other healthcare workers reach their fullest potential or assisting patients and their families in learning how to cope with chronic conditions.
Alex took a step back from nursing at the end of 2020 as so many healthcare professionals did. She turned her focus toward the family business and spent more than a year designing, furnishing, and decorating the new DUIHeroes offices in Lynnwood, WA. She recently joined the team in an official capacity as the Director of Operations. In the average workday, Alex helps with accounting, marketing, and managing the firm’s treatment program.
Alex lives with her husband, Jonathan, and their 14-year-old daughter in Snohomish, WA. She is an amateur stained glass artist and loves baking, gardening, and conquering escape rooms—she and Jonathan have escaped from 109 rooms to date!
“In the nursing profession, our core values are care, compassion, competence, communication, courage, and commitment. Regardless of your background or past mistakes, the DUIHeroes team shows up for you in a way that makes me proud to work alongside them. We don’t provide legal services—we provide legal care.”
