Chris brings nearly 12 years of prosecutorial experience to DUI Heroes, having served as a Senior Deputy Prosecuting Attorney at the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. His tenure there saw him adeptly handle a diverse array of criminal cases, including a significant focus on DUI cases, to more serious offenses such as domestic violence, sexual assault, and homicides. Additionally, Chris boasts extensive expertise in civil commitment and felony forensic mental health cases, with a track record of successful arguments before the Court of Appeals, Division 1, and multiple published cases in the realm of civil commitment.
Before his tenure at the Prosecutor’s Office, Chris honed his legal skills at a local civil litigation firm for close to 4 years, representing clients on both sides of disputes.
Originally hailing from Honolulu, Hawaii, Chris pursued his undergraduate studies at Georgetown University in Washington, DC, earning a BA in Psychology with minors in Government and English. He then pursued his law degree at Seattle University School of Law, graduating Cum Laude in 2008, while actively engaging in various leadership roles. His deep appreciation for Washington led him to make it his permanent home.
In his personal life, Chris finds joy in the company of his wife, two daughters, and a perpetually exasperating yet beloved dog. Outside of his legal pursuits, he is an active member of the local improv scene, an avid supporter of the Everett Silvertips, and enjoys indulging in hobbies like Magic the Gathering. As a committed family man, he humbly admits to prioritizing the whims of the women in his household. Additionally, he harbors aspirations of one day unveiling his pristine pickleball set, still untouched in its original packaging.
